James Lovell and son Isaac and Daughter Elizabeth "Liza Anne" came from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada about 1840-41 to Fallasburg, Kent County, Michigan.
James said in a letter, he came from religious persecution in England, but did not say where from, or name of wife.
"Liza Anne" married Elijah Keeney in Fallasburg, MI 6 Oct 1856.
Isaac was killed in the Civil War 6 Aug 1864 @ Alcantra, GA.

We would like to find a connection between the Sylvanus/ Sylvenus Lovell (b. 1833) family (of Bruce Earle Austin) and the John Lovell (b. 1833) family of Dave and Donna Forney Clark .
1. Sylvanus Fern Lovell is the son of James and Margaret Lovell (both born in England).
(Other children of James and Margaret Lovell are Isaac Lovell and Elizabeth "Eliza" Lovell Keeney).
2. We suspect that John Lovell ( b. 1833) and Sylvanus Fern Lovell (b. 1833) are related, perhaps cousins.
3. Dumphries, Brant Co., Ontario, Canada, where John (b. 1833) Lovell came from and Walsingham, Norfolk (South) Co., Ontario, Canada, where Sylvanus (b. 1833) lived are adjoining counties. Also, John Lovell's first son is named Sylvanus.
