He was born on November 12, 1946 at St. Louis, Missouri, a son of the late John W. Turntine and Dorothy Skaggs Turntine. [SURVIVOR OMITTED]. John served with Honorable Service in the U.S. Army and he was discharged on December 14, 1968. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son John Lynn Turntine and a brother Ricky Turntine. [SURVIVORS OMITTED]. A gravesite service was conducted on Friday, September 12, 2008 at 11 AM at the Schrum Cemetery of Irondale with Rev. Leonard Compton officiating. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
