THE CRISIS:
2. Maria Margaret Au (b.1784) was married instead to Samuel Baughman.

THE EPHIPHANY:
3. Samuel Disert's wife was also named Margaret Au. Their son Samuel Disert (b. 1810) was born in Cumberland Co., PA, the same county where Johanes Henrich (John Henry) Aue/Aü and Christine Barbara Lutz lived, yet I have no proof that Maria Margaret Au Baughman and Margaret Au Disert are the same person.

No burial information is given in the Roll of Honor. [and I can't find it anywhere else]

According to Ancestry.com, Obadiah's parents were Thomas Hugh MUNNELL and Mary PALMER. The father died in 1842 in a well accident. They had Obadiah, Joseph Hugh and Catherine Rebecca. Mary later married John KOONS. That record says that Obadiah died in 1862 at Camp Youngs Point.
