      When researching John McCroskey, I noticed a Net site that listed Nancy Harless as a second wife of John McCroskey (b.1790). I believe this confusion is due to Nancy Harless being married to a different John McCroskey as the following data states: [Paula Wiegand at http://www.genealogy-quest.com/Harless-Homepage/tree/p161.htm] :
      Nancy Harless was born circa 1825. She was the daughter of Isaac D. Harless and Dicey Duncan. Nancy Harless married John A. McCroskey, son of Jean Price, 20 October 1842 at Giles County, Virginia.
