He was retired from Kanawha Manufacturing as Maintenance Foreman with 27 years of service, Deacon and longtime member of Grapevine Chapel. He spent several years as a "Band Dad" traveling with DuPont and Herbert Hoover High Schools and was a grandfather figure to many band kids in Kanawha County. Preceding him in death were his wife, Dorothy; son Cam and mother Ruby Boggess. SURVIVORS OMITTED. Graveside services and burial will be 12:00 Noon Friday September 26, 2014 at Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Pocatalico with Pastor George Webb officiating.
