      Bruce John Obituary
      Bruce L. John, age 89, of Dover Township, Dover, died at 1:44 AM Friday, March 18, 2022, at his residence with his family by his side. He was the husband of Helen R. (Mitzel) John.

      Born October 8, 1932, in Franklin County, a son of the late Paul and Carrie (Diffenderfer).

      John, he was a US Navy Veteran, serving on the USS New Jersey, during the Korean War.  He also served four years in the Reserve.  He was retired from American Chain and Cable as a welder, and was an avid hunter, enjoyed camping, working in his yard, and spending time with family.  

      In addition to his loving wife of 65 years, SURVIVORS OMITTED.

      Funeral services are scheduled for 1:30 PM Friday, March 25, 2022 at William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 60 South Main Street, Manchester, with his Pastor, William Schutt, officiating. Visitation will be 1-1:30 PM. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens with military rites presented by the York County Veterans Honor Guard.

      In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bible Baptist Church, 4190 N Susquehanna Trail, York, PA 17404, or Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516.
