Susan Gentry
Susan E. Gentry, age 73, of (information omitted) Laurel Bloomery, TN passed away on Saturday evening, February 11, 2023 at her home. Susan was born on November 18, 1949 to the late Lemuel Sanford Fain and Mary Ethel Fain.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bill Gentry; brothers, Robert Fain, Lemuel Fain, David Fain and sister, Ruth Horne.
Susan was always busy and cooking was among her favorite hobbies. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed making Christmas cookies and candy to share with everyone. She adored her dogs and enjoyed spoiling them. She loved her family and will be dearly missed.
She was a member of Pleasant Home Baptist Church.
SURVIVORS OMITTED
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Mountain City Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Greg Blackburn officiating. The graveside service and burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at Stateline Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers are Ronnie Widener and Dave Pennington.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Chakraborty, Ballad Cancer Care in Johnson City, and Caris Healthcare.
