She had spent most of her life in Washington Co., was a member of Greendale Chapel, and attended First Baptist Church in Damascus. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Denver Horne; one daughter, Kathy Smith; two sons, Doug Trivitt and Dale Trivitt; two brothers, Lemuel Fain, Jr. and David Fain; two grandchildren, Jacob and Kourtney.  SURVIVORS OMITTED. The funeral service for Ruth Ellen Horne will be conducted at 7 p.m. Thursday, August 2, 2018 in the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service with Rev. Jerry Eggers officiating. The committal service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, August 3, 2018 in Forest Hills Memory Gardens. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 1:50 p.m. Honorary pallbearers will be men of Greendale Chapel. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until time of service on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Greendale Chapel, P.O.
