He was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico where his dad L.C. Thomas was stationed at Kirtland Air Force Base. As a child he lived in Panama City Florida, Bowling Green Kentucky, and Birmingham Alabama. It was in Birmingham where he attended Irondale Junior High School and graduated from Shades Valley High school in 1974. He went on to play basketball and graduated with a BS in Business from the University of Montevallo in 1980. He was a proud member of Lamda Chi Alpha and has remained close with his fraternity brothers. SURVIVORS OMITTED.
