Comer Thomas Jr., 66, Venice, died July 31, 2002. He was born Sept. 27, 1935, in Glasgow, Ky., and came to Venice in 1978 from Birmingham, Ala. He was a sales division manager for 23 years for Frigidare in Atlanta, retiring in 1990. He was a real estate agent in Florida for 12 years, his last employment with Arvida. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, where he was a former lay leader, Sunday school teacher and served on the Stewardship Committee and administrative board. SURVIVORS OMITTED. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Farley Funeral Home, Venice Chapel. A service will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Christ United Methodist Church.
