She was born August 24, 1922 in Brooklyn, New York. (SURVIVORS OMITTED) She was preceded in death by her husbands, George Boardingham, Jr, and Francis Howard Peterson and her parents Frederick and Isabelle Hanish. Doris retired in 1999 as administrative assistant to the Prien Lake Mall manager after 20 years of service. Visitation will be August 18, 2013 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home with a rosary at 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, August 19, 2013 at Johnson Funeral Home, Lake Charles.
