Marylyn was born September 28, 1942 in Beaumont, Texas. She graduated from French High School in Beaumont and attended North Texas State University in Denton. INFORMATION OMITTED. Marylyn was active as a board member of the Lower Colorado Chapter of the Coastal Conservation Association. She was an avid amateur photographer and a member of the Art League of Bay City. She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude Irvin and Dorothy Farrand Ludgate McCroskey. SURVIVORS OMITTED. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 3, 2012 at Christ Episcopal Church in Matagorda with the Rev. Dr. James E. Ely officiating. There will be a reception following the service. Those wishing to send flowers can have them sent to Busha Boat Works in Bay City. Memorial contributions can be made to the Matagorda County Women’s Crisis Center in Bay City and Friends of the Bay City Animal Shelter via local vet clinics.
