Born in Charleston, SC, he was a son of the late William R. and Minnie Bostick LaRoche. He had served in the SC National Guard and had retired from Reigal Textile. Mr. LaRoche was a member of the Hickory Tavern Lions Club and Friendship Presbyterian Church where he had been the former choir director and choir member. SURVIVORS OMITTED. He was predeceased by a son, Richard K. LaRoche; three brothers, William R. LaRoche, Jr., Ripon LaRoche, and John J. LaRoche; and one sister, Minnie LaRoche Stafford.
