Mr. Hicks was born in Florence County, a son of the late Eva Marie Reddick Hicks and Samuel Thad Hicks. He was a member of Florence Baptist Temple and a former member of Pamplico Pentecostal Holiness Church. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brothers, John Henry Hicks and Leo "Red" Hicks. SURVIVORS OMITTED The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Hicks Cemetery in Coward, SC.Memorials may be made to The Well PPHC, 613 North Pamplico Highway, Pamplico, SC 29583.
