In the 1910 Census, they were living in Horry County near Conway with two small children: John, age 5 and Evelyn, age 1. At the time of the 1920 Census, the family had relocated to the New Zion area between Turbeville and Manning. The children were John; Evelyn; George; and Thelma. George, at age 25, was living at home with his parents in Sumter at the time of the 1940 Census. It was George who witnessed his mother's Certificate of Death in 1954. George Walter Sutton is buried at Sumter Cemetery.
