Harry E. Fink Is Dead At 75; Rites Tuesday
LISCOMB----(Special)----Harry E. Fink, 75, well known Liscomb farmer, died at 7:30 a.m. Sunday at Evangelical Hospital, where he had been a patient since Thursday. He had been in failing health for 18 months.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Alice Church of God, eight miles north of Conrad, with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. R. W. Hill, Liscomb, will conduct the services. The body is at Johnson Funeral Home, Conrad.
Mr. FINK WAS born Feb. 16, 1879, in Illinois, the son of Andrew and Henrietta Fink. As a small child, he came to Grundy County with his parents and lived two miles north of the Alice Church.
He was married to Louise Rudy at Liscomb, Oct. 7, 1908. They farmed near Grundy Center for nine years and near Marble Rock for 15 years. For the last 20 years he lived northeast of Liscomb.
MR. FINK WAS a deacon in the Liscomb Christian Church.
Surviving are the widow; a daughter, Mrs. Clifford Smith, Marble Rock; a sister, Mrs. Al Kline, Conrad; the brothers, Clyde of Liscomb, Guy of DeKalb, Ill., and George of Tennessee. He was one of 11 children. A brother, Ralph Fink of the Alice community, died three weeks ago.
