She was born on November 28, 1925 in Greenfield, AR to Roy and Pearlie Ray. She married Jim Bostic on November 13, 1943 in Manila, AR where they resided until they moved to Holtville on July 10, 1955. She was a devoted wife, mother and Nannie who always had time for her friends and family. She enjoyed crocheting, crafts, cooking and baking and was known for her glazed donuts and her stuffing at Thanksgiving and Christmas. She was a member of Holtville Assembly of God Church where she was a Sunday school teacher and volunteered her time wherever she was needed until her health declined. Her family and friends will remember her for her bright smile and caring heart. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jim Bostic; brother, Eugene Ray and sister Evelyn Hampton. (SURVIVORS OMITTED) Viewing will be held at Hems Brothers Mortuary in El Centro on Monday, July 8 from 6 to 9 p.m. Services will be held at the First Assembly of God Church at 801 Holt Ave in Holtville on Tuesday, July 9 at 10 a.m. Burial will immediately follow at Evergreen Cemetery in El Centro.
