She was born October 15, 1950 to Raymond and Betty Heckman. She graduated from Chambersburg Area High School in 1968, attended Shippensburg University and Kaplan College and received an Associate's Degree in Health Information Technology. She retired from the federal government in 2017 after working for over 20 years as a federal contractor and 8 years as a civilian federal employee for the Defense Information System Agency (DISA). Barb was preceded in death by her father, mother, husband Gerald (Duck) Pogue, and great-nephew Kaden Michael. SURVIVORS OMITTED A celebration of life will be held for close family members and friends at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Barb's wishes are for donations to go to the Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter. Www.cvas-pets.org/
